We can now screen your prospective employees for CTS using the Ne-stat by Neurometrix. This test provides a screening nerve conduction test which lets you know if the employee you wish to hire currently is having problems with his or her median nerve — often indicative of CTS. The results of this test, combined with the physician's test, can help determine proper job placement of the person you wish to hire. The fee for this non-invasive test — $80 — is well worth its cost in preventing an aggravation or flare up of this condition once the employee begins his job.

Pre-placement Rapid Drug Tests are now available at Workplace Partners State Street Location only. This 5 panel rapid test gets you a negative drug test result in less than 10 minutes. Positive results require the specimen to be sent out for confirmation much the same way as a regular, non-rapid drug test. Fees are $25 for a rapid test with negative results; $50 for those which need to be sent for confirmation. These are great for those last-minute hires when time is of the essence. These tests are not acceptable for DOT testing and, at this time, are only being offered for pre-placement or pre-employment testing.
